Guitar playing techniques

Guitar playing techniques explanation - Alternate Picking: Technique of plucking the strings/string/string using the pick (pickers) with movement down and up or vice versa in constant and alternating. Slur: Slur is one technique of playing the guitar is a very popular and widely played by the guitar player especially lead guitar, and is one of the important basic techniques in playing electric guitar and acoustic guitar.

  • Slur techniques consists of Hammer-On (ascending slur) and Pull-Off (descending slur).
  • Hammer-On: How to play it: Pick not lower than 2 not, while not first still reads, another finger of left hand tap on the note without having to be picked up again.
  • Pull-Off: How to play it: quotation marks not higher than 2 not, while not First still reads, the finger used to suppress these are released in a manner not gouging the strings to the strings rang the second quotation and not lower.
  •  Legato: Legato is a technique that is done without picking slur not early or not. Usually composed of several slur assembled into one unified in a single game.
  • Bending: This technique consists of 3 kinds, namely: * Natural Bending How to play it: The strings pressed with not desired, then the motion of the finger upwards or down so the sound produced is higher than the sound not the beginning. For strings 1 (E), 2 (B) and 3 (G) bending upwards, while the strings played 4 (D), 5 (A) and 6 (E) played down. * Release Bending How to play it: Bending is done first before quoted so not yet produce sounds, once driven into the top strings strings are plucked and then returned to the original without plucked back r not. * Unision Bending How to play it: The higher strings or not lower than 2 not, in-bending until it has not the same not higher and sounded simultaneously. Slide: Played by sliding the finger that presses the strings with a particular heading not not another with forward or backward direction (Ascending or Descending slide slide).
  • Harmonic: Techniques that are guaranteed to produce sounds higher than not using original touch. Tapping: The technique without the use of a pick or played pickers, but rather with the way the fingers of both hands are on the neck of the guitar, then tapping technique can also called Two Handed technique. Tapping technique was based on the technique of slur that Hammer-On and Pull-Off combined with Tap on your right hand. String Skipping: Techniques in play in a way past (skip) 1 strings or skip strings. Sweep Picking: Techniques in play as the movement brushed (sweep), and in use for playing technique called Sweeping.
  • Arpegio: Techniques breaking down chord or key for later use with the melody alternately run(regular) did not coincide because if at the same time his name is chord. Most often applicable to Sweep Picking (Sweeping) but can also play arpegio with other techniques such as String Skipping is called "String Skipping Arpegio". Ascending: the game moves from low to high pitch tone. Descending: the opposite of ascending, i.e. the game is moving from high to low tone tone.
  • Barre: one finger pressing a few strings or yan fret at once. Chicken picking/hybrid picking: the transitional passage technique using pick and fingers. usually often used by country musicians. Clean guitar: the original guitar sound without the influence by any effect. Five not-per-string: not every five strings.
  • Outside: playing out of key center. Passing note: the tone that works with liaison.
  • Range: range or range of tones.
  • Slide up: Emit one tone then shifts to a higher pitch.
  • Slide down: the opposite of the slide up.
